“The Silent Secret of Snakes”

Introduction to reptile education program for Boise School District high school ecology classes. The program consists of showing the animals in the containers on the tables to the students and discussing their habitats, countries where they live, behavior, diet and other aspects of their respective natural histories. The animals in this program included: Savannah monitor lizard; Great Basin gopher snake; Rubber boa; Black pine snake; Northern pine snake; Corn snake; juvenile Western rattlesnake; Gila monster; Royal python; Dumeril’s ground boa of Madascar; Jungle carpet python; and Central American boa constrictor. Basically we take a mini-tour of the world. Have done this presentation for about ten years. There are presentations to three separate classes of about 40 students each.
